My Worldview

By Cade Shadowlight
     Between Shadows and Light.

My Philosophical Stances:

  • A Biblical World-View: I believe the world is best understand through a Biblical-lens which accepts Elohim (God) as Creator and the entire Bible, from Genesis 1 through Revelation 22, as authoritative and trustworthy. Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah.
  • Natural Rights: Our freedoms and rights come not from government or even majority vote, but rather from our Creator. Hence, our freedoms and rights cannot be taken away by government or majority vote. The Declaration of Independence refers to this concept as "Unalienable Rights."
  • A Constitutional Literalist: I accept the Constitution, including the Bill of Rights and other amendments, as the organizational and legal foundation of our country, and that it should be interpreted by the original intent of the Founders, and as constitutionally amended.
  • Resistance to Technocracy and Authoritarianism: I hold a critical view of modern governance systems and advanced technologies, advocating for personal freedom and decentralized systems. However, I am not a modern-day luddite, in that I do believe many technologies are useful tools when used correctly.
  • Agrarianism: I support the return to the old paths of self-reliance and local economies built around agrarian communities. This is a form of small-market capitalism, and encourages sustainability and community resilience.
  • Skepticism: I question official narratives, and the experts and government officials who dictate them, realizing that they are humans who are just as capable of mistakes, bias, and corruption as anyone else. Instead, I advocate for personal investigation and critical analysis over blind acceptance.

  • My favorite and most often used Bible:
The NKJV, American Patriot's Bible, The Word of God and the Shaping of America (Amazon link) - One of my favorites, the New King James Version is literal, accurate, and easy-to-read for most modern folks. The American Patriot's Bible "shows how the history of the United States connects the people and events of the Bible to our lives in a modern world. The story of the United States is wonderfully woven into the teachings of the Bible." Lot's of articles and study notes showing the importance of God and the Bible to our nation's founding and subsequent history.
