Teddy Roosevelt’s Tale of Bauman’s Bigfoot Encounter in the Bitterroot Mountains

In his 1893 book, The Wilderness Hunter, Theodore Roosevelt recounted a chilling tale told by an old trapper named Bauman, who claimed to have encountered a mysterious, large, hairy, bipedal creature in the Bitterroot Mountains near the Montana-Idaho border in the early to mid-1800s. Bauman’s story, shared with Roosevelt during a conversation, has since become a cornerstone of Bigfoot mythology.

According to Bauman, he and his trapping partner were stalked by a tall, foul-smelling creature that walked upright on two legs and left large, human-like footprints. The beast shadowed their movements, growing bolder until it violently attacked their camp, destroying their gear. The situation turned tragic when Bauman discovered his partner dead, his neck broken and throat bearing bite marks. Terrified, Bauman fled, convinced the creature was a “half-human, half-devil” monster.

Roosevelt, an avid outdoorsman and hunter who later became the 26th President of the United States, noted Bauman’s palpable fear and appeared to take the story seriously, though he offered no definitive explanation. Neither Bauman nor Roosevelt used the terms “Sasquatch” or “Bigfoot,” as these labels were not yet common. However, the creature’s description — tall, hairy, bipedal, foul-smelling, and leaving oversized humanoid tracks — closely matches modern Sasquatch lore.

Adding intrigue, the Salish and Kootenai tribes of the Bitterroot region have long shared legends of hairy, human-like beings. The Salish speak of Se’sxac (wild man), while the Kootenai describe Chiye-tanka (big elder brother), both resembling contemporary Bigfoot descriptions. These oral traditions, dating back centuries, lend cultural weight to Bauman’s account and fuel speculation about a creature yet to be fully explained.

College Is a Scam, Not a Success Ticket

By Cade Shadowlight

For decades, we’ve been fed the lie that college is the golden ticket to success. That’s dead wrong. Studies prove it, and employers know it: attitude, work ethic, and practical skills, not a fancy diploma, drive success.

College campuses are now woke indoctrination hubs. Academic standards have tanked as political correctness and extremist ideologies run the show. A degree from even “elite” schools like Harvard isn’t the flex it was 40 years ago. Meanwhile, tuition costs have skyrocketed. $50,000+ a year for what? A piece of paper and a head full of Marxist nonsense?

Let’s be clear: college is a bad bet for most. You don’t need a $100,000 gender studies degree to “get ahead.” That’s outdated Boomer advice. Success comes from grit and skills, not debt and dogma. Universities aren’t about education anymore. They’re about control, stripping away traditional values and faith while drowning you in loans.

Want a real education without the baggage? Here’s how:

  • Trade Schools or Community Colleges: Learn practical skills like welding, coding, or plumbing. These cost a fraction of university tuition and lead to real jobs. Bonus: less woke propaganda. Check local programs or online platforms like Trade Schools Directory (Website Link).
  • Self-Education: Libraries, YouTube, and free online courses (think Coursera or Khan Academy) let you learn anything—without the debt.
  • Work and Build: Get a job, any job, and start learning real-world skills. Supplement on-the-job training with targeted online and community college courses. Hustle beats a diploma every time.
If you must pursue a degree for fields like medicine or law, be smart:

  • Start at a community college for core courses—way cheaper.
  • Transfer to an affordable state university to finish.
  • Work part-time to avoid debt. Take a gap year to save up if needed.
The system wants you in debt, compliant, and brainwashed. Skip the college trap. Build skills, stay curious, and carve your own path. Your wallet—and your mind—will thank you.

Unraveling Project Blue Beam: Drones, Holograms, and New World Order Theories

The mysterious drones situation in New Jersey late last year created a lot of speculation and rumors. A couple of the more interesting ones involve aliens and Project Blue Beam. For my take on aliens, check out my article The True Nature of Aliens and UFOs (article link). But what about Project Blue Beam? What is it? Is it real? Is it a danger?

A Quick Look at the Project Blue Beam Theory

Project Blue Beam is a theory that alleges the existence of a global plot to create a New Age religion with the Antichrist at its head. According to the theory, this plot involves the use of advanced technology (perhaps including drones and AI) to create holographic images of supernatural events, which will then be broadcast worldwide. These events could include a fake "second coming of Jesus" or even contact with aliens, perhaps even posing as our "creators."

The theory suggests that this deception is part of a larger plan to establish a New World Order and one world government, with the Antichrist as its leader. Proponents of the theory often cite various sources, including the Bible, other ancient texts, and alleged statements from high-ranking officials, as evidence for the existence of Project Blue Beam. However, there is no hard, direct evidence to support the existence of Project Blue Beam. Despite this lack of real evidence, it remains popular many conspiracy theorist circles.

Although it is not directly mentioned in the Bible, Project Blue Beam theorists do draw on various biblical prophecies, particularly those related to the end times. According to the theory, there is an alleged global plot to deceive humanity involving holographic images of supernatural events and beings, in order to establish a New World Order with the Antichrist as its leader. Some of the key biblical passages cited include:
  • Revelation 13:14-15, which describes a false prophet who uses images, signs and miracles to deceive people and worship the Beast.
  • Matthew 24:24, where Jesus warns about false messiahs and false prophets who will perform great signs and wonders to deceive people, "even the elect."
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, which speaks of signs and wonders to deceive those who are perishing.
While these biblical prophecies do warn of deception and false signs during the end times, the Project Blue Beam theory is not supported by most mainstream Christian theologians. The theory's connection to the Bible is based on the interpretation and speculation, rather than direct evidence. This doesn't mean it isn't possible, just that it cannot be spoken of as established fact. It remains, for now, a theory.

8 Times Conspiracy Theories Turned Out to Be True

By Cade Shadowlight

Over the decades, there have been many instances where true events were hidden or officially denied, and attempts to bring them to light were labeled "conspiracy theories." Here are eight notable examples.

1) MKUltra: Initially considered a conspiracy theory, it was later confirmed that the CIA conducted covert experiments on human subjects, aiming to identify and develop drugs and procedures to manipulate mental states. The program involved the use of LSD and other substances, often without the knowledge or consent of the subjects.

2) Operation Paperclip: This was the secret program where the U.S. government brought over Nazi scientists, including those involved in war crimes, to work on American projects, especially in rocketry and aerospace. Many of these scientists played major roles in the development of America's space program. Initially a subject of much speculation, this operation was later acknowledged by the federal government.

3) Tuskegee Syphilis Study: For 40 years, the U.S. Public Health Service, in collaboration with the Tuskegee Institute, conducted an unethical study on African American men with syphilis, withholding treatment to observe the disease's progression. This was only acknowledged after public outcry in the 1970s.

4) Project Sunshine: In the wake of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the U. S. government collected body parts from deceased individuals, particularly children, to study the effects of radioactive fallout, often without the consent of the families. This was verified through later investigations.

5) COINTELPRO: The FBI's Counter Intelligence Program targeting
domestic political organizations by surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting them, was initially seen as conspiracy but was later revealed as true through declassified documents.

6) The Business Plot: A 1933 conspiracy by wealthy businessmen to overthrow President Franklin D. Roosevelt and establish a fascist government was largely dismissed at the time. However, it was later proven by testimonies in Congress.

7) CIA’s Weather Modification in Vietnam: Operation Popeye used cloud seeding to extend Vietnam’s monsoon season, disrupting military operations. Declassified documents confirmed this covert program. While some dismiss modern weather modification as impossible, history shows otherwise—governments have long experimented with controlling the weather.

8) Surveillance and Data Collection: The extent of U.S, government domestic surveillance, particularly post-Snowden revelations, confirmed what many had speculated about regarding the depth of government monitoring of citizens. They don't just spy on our foes. They also spy on you and I.

Why This Matters

These examples illustrate that many conspiracy theories have at least a solid basis in reality, often uncovered through investigative journalism, legal proceedings, or declassification of documents.

This doesn't mean that every conspiracy theory is true. Many are false. And some are even intentionally planted as red-herrings to distract from the truth. Always critically evaluate information and think for yourself.
